MBA का इतिहास (History of MBA)

विश्व में MBA की शुरुआत

अमेरिका में 1908 में MBA को पहली बार हार्वर्ड बिजनेस स्कूल द्वारा डिग्री के रूप में पेश किया गया था। इसकी पहली कक्षा में 15 faculty members के मार्गदर्शन में 33 regular और 47 स्पेशल छात्र शामिल थे।

हांलाकि ऐसा माना जाता है कि MBA की शुरुआत 19वीं शताब्दी के अंत में उस समय ही हो गयी थी, जब 1881 में एक अमेरिकी उद्यमी और उद्योगपति जोसेफ व्हार्टन के समर्थन से युवा स्नातकों को जटिल आर्थिक स्थिति के लिए बेहतर ढंग से तैयार करने के लिए पेन्सिलवेनिया विश्वविद्यालय में व्हार्टन बिजनेस स्कूल को दुनिया के पहले कॉलेजिएट स्कूल ऑफ बिजनेस के रूप में बनाया गया।

इस प्रकार MBA की शुरुआत सर्वप्रथम अमेरिका में 19वीं शताब्दी में हुई थी। लेकिन आज यह कोर्स पूरे विश्वभर में प्रसिद्ध है। MBA कोर्स करने वालों की संख्या आज के समय में करोड़ों में है और इस कोर्स को करने के बाद लोग बड़ी बड़ी MNCs में काम कर रहे हैं और लाखों रूपये कमा रहे हैं।

ऊपर दी गयी सूची में भारत के बिज़नेस स्कूल को उनकी स्थापना के वर्ष के क्रम में रखा गया है। भले ही Xavier’s Institute की स्थापना 1949 में हुई थी, लेकिन भारत में MBA की डिग्री देने वाला पहला संस्थान कोलकाता स्थित इंडियन इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ सोशल वेलफेयर एंड बिजनेस मैनेजमेंट (IISWBM) था। Xavier’s Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur ने अपनी स्थापना के समय से ही एमबीए की डिग्री प्रदान नहीं की।

MBA के लिए शैक्षिक योग्यता (Educational Qualification for MBA)

MBA एक Post Graduation degree है तो इसके लिए candidate का किसी भी मान्यता प्राप्त कॉलेज या यूनिवर्सिटी से Graduate होना आवश्यक है। Graduation कुछ भी हो सकता है जैसे BBA , B.COM, B.SC, BA आदि।

यदि किसी भी candidate का पहले से ही MBA करने का plan हो तो उसके लिए graduation BBA से करना बेहतर माना जाता है। MBA colleges में admission लेने के लिए ग्रेजुएशन में न्यूनतम 50% नंबर के साथ पास होना जरूरी है, इससे आपके लगभग सभी कॉलेजों में प्रवेश करने के अवसर बढ़ जाते हैं।

आज के समय में भारत में MBA course करने के लिए CAT, GMAT, XAT इत्यादि MBA प्रवेश परीक्षा आयोजित की जाती है। इन प्रवेश परीक्षाओं में पास होकर आप top के MBA colleges में admission ले सकते हैं.

Course करने के बाद अच्छी कंपनियों में नौकरी पा सकते हैं, जहां पर आपको काफी अच्छा पैकेज मिल जाता है; या हो सकता है आप खुद का बिज़नेस भी शुरू कर लें। हालांकि कई top NBA colleges अब बिना किसी प्रवेश परीक्षा के MBA course करा रहे हैं।

MBA कोर्स की अवधि (MBA Course Duration)

MBA कोर्स की अवधि दो साल की होती है। इस पूरे कोर्स में 4 सेमेस्टर होते हैं और आपको प्रत्येक सेमेस्टर का exam pass करना होता है। MBA Course करने के लिए आपके पास Bachelor Degree होना आवश्यक है।

इस Course को करने के बाद आपको बिज़नेस के बारे में अच्छी समझ हो जाती है और आप खुद का बिज़नेस भी शुरू कर सकते हैं। इस कोर्स में बातचीत, टीम वर्क, ग्रुप डिस्कशन और social interaction skill develop की जाती है। जिससे आप बिज़नेस से सम्बंधित सभी प्रकार के कार्यों को पूरा करने के लिए तैयार हो जाते हो।

MBA पूरा करने के बाद आपके पास बहुत सारे jobs के option available हो जाते हैं। आप अपनी रूचि के हिसाब से जॉब प्रोफाइल चुन सकते हैं। जिनमे से कुछ निम्न प्रकार है:

Banking & Finance (बैंकिंग और वित्त): बैंकिंग और वित्त डोमेन में पोर्टफोलियो प्रबंधन और सुरक्षा और निवेश विश्लेषण शामिल हैं। एमबीए स्नातक बैंकों, बीमा कंपनियों, सुरक्षा फर्मों और विभिन्न वित्तीय संगठनों में नौकरी पा सकते हैं। इस डोमेन में नौकरी की पेशकश करने वाली कुछ शीर्ष कंपनियां Barclays, RBS, Nomura, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs आदि हैं।

Management Consulting (प्रबंधन परामर्श): यदि आप समस्या-समाधान में अच्छे हैं, तो आप प्रबंधन परामर्श में नौकरियों की तलाश कर सकते हैं। प्रबंधन परामर्श में पेशेवरों की जिम्मेदारी संगठनात्मक मुद्दों को हल करना है। इसके साथ ही नए विचारों और नई समस्या-समाधान विधियों को भी उजागर करना होता है।

Entrepreneurship (उद्यमिता): आजकल एमबीए स्नातकों के बीच Entrepreneurship (उद्यमिता) सबसे पसंदीदा विकल्प बन गया है। MBA छात्रों की entrepreneur (उद्यमी) बनने की क्षमता को बढ़ाता है। अगर आप उद्यमी बनना चाहते हैं तो अनुभव कोई मायने नहीं रखता। इस करियर में उत्कृष्टता प्राप्त करने के लिए छात्रों को रचनात्मक और नवीन कौशल की आवश्यकता होती है।
